Bjørn Wiinblad figure girl with birds hand-decorated blue/white

This hand-decorated Bjørn Wiinblad figure unites fairy tale, fantasy and decorative ceramics in an expression that is easy to recognize. The motif with girl and birds is classic Wiinblad: a tall, stylized female figure with a calm face, detailed headdress and the characteristic ornaments that give the figure life and personality. The blue and white colour scheme emphasizes the poetic and graphic expression and makes the figure striking in the interior.

On the figure can be seen the rich, hand-decorated patterns for which Bjørn Wiinblad is so appreciated. The flourishing decorations, the fine lines and the small bird details create a story that balances between folk art, theatrical atmosphere and craftsmanship. It is a figure that works both as an eye-catcher on its own and as a natural part of a collection with other Wiinblad figures, vases or decorative objects.

Bjørn Wiinblad was known for his special ability to create works with warmth, fantasy and recognizable character, and precisely for that reason his figures continue to hold a strong place among collectors and design enthusiasts. A hand-decorated figure from Bjørn Wiinblads Værksted has a special intimacy in its expression, because the decoration gives each figure its own vivid touch. This makes it ideal as a gift for someone who loves Danish design, craftsmanship and figures with a story.

In the home, a Wiinblad figure like this fits beautifully on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a side table, where it can add colour, history and personality to the room. The blue/white version is easy to combine with both classic and modern interiors, while the motif with girl and birds gives the figure a light, poetic mood that one can enjoy for many years.
