Royal Copenhagen seagull figurine no. 104 or 1468 Peter Herold 6 cm

Royal Copenhagen seagull figurine no. 104 or 1468 is a porcelain figurine with a calm and lifelike expression, making it ideal for both collecting and interior decoration. The figurine is designed by Peter Herold and depicts the seagull in a low, gliding position, which evokes associations with a bird resting lightly on the water. The soft transitions between white porcelain, grey-blue head and wings, as well as the warm beak, bring the figurine to life without seeming exaggerated.

It is precisely the subdued colour scheme and the simple shape that make this Royal Copenhagen bird figurine so versatile in the home. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of an arrangement with other bird figurines and classic Danish porcelain. The expression is harmonious and light, and the figurine adds a quiet Nordic atmosphere, whether it stands alone or together with other collectors' items.

As a porcelain figurine in underglaze, it has the smooth, clear surface and the precise play of colours that many associate with classic figurines from Royal Copenhagen. For collectors, the model is interesting both because of the motif and because of Peter Herold's name, which is known for bird figurines with a lively, observant design language. This also makes the figurine a good gift idea for anyone who is fond of birds, Danish design, and porcelain with character.

This seagull figurine is a fine choice if you are looking for a Royal Copenhagen figurine, a bird figurine in porcelain, or a decorative gift with a classic Danish expression. The small size makes it easy to place, while the motif gives it personality and presence.
