Royal Copenhagen Lipizzaner horse figurine 4752 Jeanne Grut

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4752 depicts a Lipizzaner horse in an upright and lively movement, where the raised foreleg and the slightly turned body give the figurine both calm and energy. The light horse stands on an oval base, and the glossy porcelain emphasizes the elegant lines of the body, neck and head. The grey-toned details in the mane, tail, legs and face create a fine contrast to the white glaze and give the figurine depth.

Jeanne Grut has confidently captured the horse's character and posture. The expression is classic and naturalistic, yet at the same time stylish enough to fit beautifully into a modern interior. It is precisely the combination of movement, balance and precisely modelled details that makes this horse figurine an obvious choice for both collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and for those who are fond of horses, porcelain and Danish design.

As an older porcelain figurine, this Lipizzaner also contains the special charm that original quality objects with history have. It is the type of decorative art and collector's item that is created to last for many years and still adds personality to the home. A figurine like this works beautifully alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or together with other animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift idea for horse enthusiasts or for the collector who is looking for a Royal Copenhagen horse with a classic expression.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze, which suits Royal Copenhagen's tradition-rich work with animal figurines well. Production start is stated as 1966, and the model went out of production around 1984, which makes figurine no. 4752 interesting for collectors seeking older models from the period.
