The motif of the 2011 Royal Copenhagen plaquette is Immervad Bridge at Hærvejen. The bridge is one of the few and most preserved bridges at the stretch. The Hærvej was an important route for trading and was especially used for transport of cattle. Today the Hærvej is primarily a tourist attraktion which gives visiters opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The old bridge was build in 1786 and though the stream is now dry, you can still enjoy the sight and feel how important the bridge was.
