The motif of the Children's Day plate 2018 made by Bing & Grondahl depicts a boy sitting on a bridge made of tree, trying to catch a fish. Unfortunately it is not tonigts dinner he is lucky to catch but instead an old boot. The dog is sitting next to the boy, watching carefully what he is doing. In the background we see a typical Danish coat line and a boat in the water.
