This 1971 Gustavsberg Christmas plate in blue and white features a pattern that resembles smoke curling up from a candle and forming into little gnomes, adding a festive and imaginative touch to the design. The Christmas plate, with a diameter of 20 cm, is made of Gustavsberg's specialty, bone china, making it not just a beautiful collectible item but also an ideal lunch plate that can contribute to the festive atmosphere at Christmas lunches or as a delicate starter plate for Christmas Eve dinner.

This plate is Gustavsberg's first Christmas plate, starting a tradition that continued until 1994. The plate is made in a limited edition and has not been reproduced. The motif is created by the artist Sven Johnson.
