Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate 2011 Waiting for Santa Claus

Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate 2011 with the motif Waiting for Santa Claus captures the very special anticipation that belongs to Christmas. In the classic blue and white porcelain, a atmospheric Christmas tree with real candles is seen, while a child stands by the window and gazes out into the winter darkness. At the bottom of the plate, the year 2011 appears, which makes it easy to identify for collectors and for you who are looking for precisely this annual plate from Royal Copenhagen.

The Christmas plate is designed by Sven Vestergaard, who with a sure hand continues the beloved tradition of Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates. The motif tells a little Christmas story in itself: homely coziness, twinkling lights and childlike excitement just before the big evening. It is precisely this story that makes a Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate more than just a plate - it becomes a memory, a collector's item and a decorative piece of Danish design.

As a Christmas plate, it is ideal for hanging in December, and there are holes on the back for hanging, so it can easily find its place on the wall together with other annual plates. At the same time, it is produced so that it may be used for foodstuffs and is suitable for eating from, for example as a small lunch plate or cake plate. This makes it extra practical for you who would like to combine tradition, function and beautiful porcelain on the Christmas table.

Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate 2011 is also an ideal gift idea for collectors, for a person with special memories from the year 2011 or for anyone who loves Danish Christmas decorations and porcelain with history. It fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes and can easily be combined with other blue and white porcelain for an elegant and personal expression.
