Royal Copenhagen blue fluted soup toureen with cover
Very beautiful old, round Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain tureen.
The tureen is no. 1/124 and the underplate is no. 1/225.
Please note: There is a minor grinding mark under the lid. See photo.
The currently produced version of the fluted pattern, was designed by the architect Arnold Krog (artistic leader at The Royal Porcelainfactory from 1884 to 1916) in 1885. Originally the decoration- pattern comes from China. Later that same year he created the Half and Full Lace decorations.
