Set of very old Bing & Grøndahl Blue Fluted coffee cups with saucers, both with gold rims. The cups have a flower at the bottom inside. The gold rims are faded on both the cups and saucers. The set consists of the following: 8 cups without chips 3 cups with chips/cracks 3 saucers without chips 11 saucers with chips

Blue Traditional is the Blue Fluted service of Bing & Grondahl. Both Blue Fluted from Royal Copenhagen and Blue Traditional from B&G is in the German muschel style. After a court case it was judged that only Royal Copenhagen had the right to the name Blue Fluted. The pattern was not protected, however, and thus Bing & Grondahl could continue to produce the service under the name Blue Traditional.
