Empire dinner and coffee service was produced by Bing & Groendahl. Empire tablerware was designed by Harriet Bing, who was married to one of the two brothers who were joint owners of the Bing & Groendahl factory. The Empire tableware is characterized by the white ground colour with scale border and its beautifully swung blue decorations of flowers and sea horse heads.
