Holmegaard Almue Schnapps glass

Holmegaard Almue - Classic Retro Glassware Designed by Per Lütken
Almue is a classic glassware collection from Danish Holmegaard, designed by the renowned glass artist Per Lütken in 1965. The series was produced until 1998 and has since been discontinued.
Holmegaard Almue is characterised by its simple and timeless design in clear glass, reflecting the Danish glassmaking tradition and the style of the 1960s.
The glasses have a classic retro appearance and are generally smaller than many modern wine glasses. This is partly due to the different traditions of serving wine and other beverages at the time.
The Almue collection includes red wine glasses, white wine glasses, fortified wine glasses, beer glasses, liqueur glasses and schnapps glasses, offering the opportunity to create a beautiful and harmonious table setting.
With their understated elegance, Holmegaard Almue glasses are suitable for both everyday use and special occasions. They can be combined with modern tableware or used as part of a traditional table setting.
As the series is no longer in production, Holmegaard Almue glasses are also appealing to collectors and anyone wishing to complete or expand an existing glassware collection.
