The motif of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie was designed by Thorkild Olsen, while the silhouette of Queen Margrethe II was created by Kaj Lange.
The tea caddy was produced in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Royal Porcelain Factory 1 May 1775 - 1 May 1975.
Queen Dowager Juliane Marie was the original patron of the factory, and it remained under royal ownership from 1779 until 1849.
