Bing & Grondahl porcelain bowls and ashtrays

Bing & Grondahl has produced countless bowls and ashtrays for decoration and use. Many are originally thought as ashtrays, but as the number of smokers are going down, many of the ashtrays are today used as bowls, either for decoration on a coffee table or bowl to snack etc.

There are several shapes of the bowls, some are square, some are round and some are more oblong. The motifs of the Bing & Grondahl porcelain bowls are many. One of the large Bing & Grondahl porcelain bowls are decorated with water lilies and crayfish in delicate pastel nuances.

B&G porcelain has also produced a beautiful series of vases and bowls with lily of the valley on light blue background. Within this series there are many vases and indeed some bowls and ashtrays. The small porcelain bowls with lily of the valley is made with round, leaf shaped and square versions.

The square Bing & Grondahl porcelain bowls with motifs from Danish sights are great gift ideas for family, friends or business associates abroad. Many foreigners connects Denmark with H.C. Andersen, who is depicted on a Bing & Grondahl porcelain bowl, a bowl that is appreciated by many people. It can be placed traditionally on a table or windowsill, but can also be placed in a plate rack, giving the porcelain bowl the best opportunity to be displayed in the best way.

The motifs of the square Bing & Grondahl bowls are very varied. Himmelbjerget, Thorvaldsen's Museum and Dybbel Mill are just some of the many motifs.

There are a number of bowls from both Bing & Grondahl and Royal Copenhagen that are well-suited for serving seafood and sushi.
