Royal Copenhagen swan figurine no. 073 or 755 by Erik Nielsen 16 cm

Royal Copenhagen swan figurine no. 073/755 is a classic bird figurine in porcelain with the calm and harmonious expression that has made Danish animal figurines sought after through generations. The white swan is modelled with a long, elegant neck, raised head and softly shaped wings, which give the figurine a lively yet balanced expression. It is a porcelain figurine that fits beautifully into both a classic collection and a contemporary interior.

Erik Nielsen has created a swan with a simple and assured design, where the fine details in the plumage and the lightly curved body give the figurine character. The white glaze emphasizes the motif's clean lines, while the beak and facial markings add a discreet contrast. It is precisely the combination of naturalism and stylish form that makes this Royal Copenhagen figurine an obvious choice for collectors of bird figurines, Danish porcelain and Scandinavian design.

As a decorative figurine, the swan works beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a sideboard, where it can stand alone and create a sense of calm, or be combined with other porcelain animals from Royal Copenhagen. The motif has a timeless appeal, and a swan figurine is also a lovely gift idea for anyone who appreciates birds, nature motifs or porcelain with classic Danish design language.

Royal Copenhagen bird figurines are known for good craftsmanship and for models that continue to remain relevant. Therefore, this swan is not only a decorative feature, but also a piece of Danish porcelain history, which can continue to bring joy into the home.
