Bing & Grøndahl white kitten figurine no. 2506, 13 cm

This porcelain figurine from Bing & Grøndahl depicts a white kitten in a calm and very lifelike pose. The kitten sits upright with its head bent down toward the raised paw, as if it is in the middle of washing itself or absorbed in a quiet moment. This gives the figurine a natural expression that many collectors and cat lovers appreciate, and makes it a classic cat figurine in Danish porcelain.

The smooth white glaze is combined with fine, discreet nuances at the ears, paw and tail, which highlight the form of the figurine without appearing heavy. It is precisely this simple, restrained colour expression that makes the figurine fit beautifully into both classic and modern homes. It works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection with other porcelain figurines from Bing & Grøndahl and Royal Copenhagen.

As an older porcelain figurine, it also has the special charm that only design with history can add to a room. It is the type of decorative art and collector's item that is made to last a long time and still brings joy many years later. Choosing vintage porcelain is at the same time a fine way to give good craftsmanship new life and bring personality into the interior.

The figurine is an obvious gift for a cat lover, for the collector of Bing & Grøndahl figurines or for you who would like to add a small piece of Danish porcelain history to the home. The calm pose and gentle expression make it easy to place, and it looks particularly good together with other animal figurines in porcelain.
