Royal Copenhagen pixie figurine no. 764, pixie girl on sled

Royal Copenhagen pixie figurine no. 764 is a charming Christmas figurine that captures the quiet joy of winter and Christmas. The figurine shows a pixie girl sitting on a sled with a teddy bear in her arms, ready to bring warmth and nostalgia into the Christmas decorations. The red pixie outfit, the striped stockings, and the small sled give the figurine a classic look that fits beautifully into both traditional and more simple Christmas décor.

The motif has a calm and narrative atmosphere. The pixie girl sits relaxed with the teddy bear in front of her, and together they create a cozy little moment that brings to mind childhood Christmases, winter games, and old Christmas traditions. This makes the figurine ideal as a Christmas decoration on a shelf, in a windowsill, or as part of a pixie landscape on the Christmas table.

The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard for Royal Copenhagen and made as a porcelain figurine with underglaze. The combination of the familiar Christmas motif and Royal Copenhagen's confident design language makes it interesting both as a collector's figurine and as a standalone Christmas figurine with personality. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen pixies and Christmas figurines, no. 764 is a model that can easily be combined with other pixie figurines in porcelain, but it also stands nicely on its own as a small piece of classic Christmas decoration.

Older Christmas figurines like this have a special ability to create continuity in the home year after year. Choosing a porcelain pixie with history is also a beautiful way to give good craftsmanship new life. It is exactly the type of Christmas decoration one looks forward to bringing out again when December approaches.
