Bing & Grøndahl Annual Angel Children 2005 girl with star

Annual Angel Children 2005, girl with star, is a porcelain figurine with the calm and warm Christmas atmosphere that many collectors associate with Bing & Grøndahl. The figurine shows a little angel girl in a long white dress with light wings, while she holds a golden star close to herself. The expression is gentle and thoughtful, and it is precisely the combination of child, angel and star that makes the figurine ideal as a Christmas figurine and as part of an atmospheric collection of angel figurines.

Sven Vestergaard is behind the design, and the figurine is the second in the Angel Children series. The fine shapes and the subdued colour scheme give the figurine a classic expression that fits beautifully into both traditional Christmas decorations and a simpler Nordic interior. The white porcelain body, the light blue details in the hair and the warm star create a calm contrast that makes the figurine decorative both alone and together with other Christmas figurines from Bing & Grøndahl and Royal Copenhagen.

As a collector's figurine, Annual Angel Children 2005 has a special appeal, because year figurines are often sought after by both collectors and those who wish to mark a particular year. It can be a personal gift idea for someone who is fond of porcelain figurines, angels or classic Danish Christmas decorations. At the same time, it is a figurine with history and durability - a piece of porcelain created to be brought out year after year and become a fixed part of Christmas traditions.

It works well on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or as part of a small Christmas arrangement with candles, fir and other angel children. For you who appreciate older design and good craftsmanship, this porcelain figurine is also a sustainable choice: a figurine with soul, history and a long lifespan, which can continue to create joy in the home.
