Royal Copenhagen annual figurine 2005 Anna with gifts

Royal Copenhagen annual figurine 2005, Anna with gifts, captures a quiet and expectant winter scene in porcelain. The figurine depicts the young Anna in a blue winter coat and hat, with a white scarf, red boots and a basket filled with gifts. By her side sits a small white cat, which gives the motif extra warmth and presence. It is a figurine with a distinct Christmas and winter atmosphere, but also with a calm everyday expression that makes it charming all year round.

Sven Vestergaard has created an annual figurine in which the fine details and the classic Royal Copenhagen colors work beautifully together. The glossy underglaze highlights both the folds in the clothing, the woven basket and the small gift packages with red ribbons. Anna stands slightly bent forward with her gaze lowered toward the basket, while the cat looks up, and it is precisely that small scene that gives the figurine life and narrative.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, Anna with gifts is ideal for collectors of annual figurines and for those who are fond of Danish porcelain design with motif, personality and history. The figurine works well on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or as part of a larger collection of Royal Copenhagen annual figurines. It is also an obvious gift idea for a collector or for someone who appreciates porcelain figurines with winter motifs, children and animals.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special ability to add soul and character to the home. When you choose a figurine with history, you are at the same time choosing a piece of design that is created to be kept, enjoyed and passed on. Anna with gifts is precisely such a figurine - poetic, recognizable and easy to love.
