Royal Copenhagen penguins figurine no. 1190 Anna Trap 10 cm

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 1190 with two penguins is a porcelain figurine by Anna Trap, where the motif is interpreted with a calm and close form that gives the figurine a strong presence. The two penguins stand completely close to each other with slightly bowed heads, and it is precisely this simple posture that creates a warm and harmonious expression. It is a bird figurine that combines a nature motif and Danish porcelain design in a way that appears both classic and timeless.

The glossy, smooth surfaces emphasize the calm character of the figurine. In the pictures, the dark grey-blue upper sides, the white breast areas, and the soft brownish shades on the beaks and feet can be seen, which bring the motif to life without disturbing the simple overall impression. Seen from different angles, the figurine changes character, from the two upright birds from the front to the close, almost mirroring silhouette from the back, where their beaks meet discreetly.

Anna Trap is particularly known for her penguin figurines for Royal Copenhagen, and this model is a fine example of her eye for animals' posture and mood. The figurine works beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of an arrangement with other bird figurines and animal figurines in porcelain. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and older Danish porcelain, figurine no. 1190 is a sought-after motif, but it also fits naturally into a modern home, where it adds personality and history.

Choosing an older porcelain figurine is also a way to give good craftsmanship new life. Quality figurines like this are created to last and to be appreciated through generations. Therefore, it is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, for nature lovers, or for anyone who is fond of porcelain figurines with soul and character.
