Royal Copenhagen Two Lambs figurine no. 2769 or 137 by Knud Kyhn

Royal Copenhagen figurine with two lambs is a calm and intimate porcelain figurine, where Knud Kyhn has captured the close interaction between the animals with great confidence. The two lambs lie completely close, almost intertwined with each other, and the motif gives the figurine a soft and peaceful expression that fits beautifully into both classic and more simple homes.

The rounded forms and the glazed surface emphasize the figurine's calm character. In the pictures, the light bodies can be seen with grey-toned details on faces, ears, legs and tails, which gives the motif depth and life without seeming heavy. It is precisely this balance between naturalism and simple form that makes many of Knud Kyhn's animal figurines so sought after among collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and Danish porcelain.

The figurine is an obvious choice for you who are fond of animal figurines in porcelain, Danish design and objects with history and personality. It works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a combined arrangement with other animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen. The motif of the two resting lambs also makes it suitable as a gift idea for a collector or for someone who appreciates timeless craftsmanship.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special charm because they are created to be preserved and enjoyed for many years. Choosing a figurine with history is also a beautiful way to bring quality, soul and sustainable consideration into the interior.
