Royal Copenhagen Annual Angel Children 2006 Boy with pan flute

The Annual Angel Children 2006, "Boy with pan flute", is an atmospheric angel figurine with a calm and musical expression. The figurine depicts a little boy angel standing with his pan flute raised in front of him, as if he is in the middle of a quiet melody. This gives the figurine a peaceful character that fits beautifully into both Christmas decorations, collections of angel figurines, and classic Danish porcelain design.

The design was created by Sven Vestergaard, and it is precisely his sure sense of soft shapes and gentle expressions that is clearly visible here. The long white robe, the light wings, and the delicate shades in the hair, face, and instrument give the figurine a harmonious overall impression. The pan flute adds a lively and poetic element to the motif, making this angel figurine a little different from more traditional Christmas angels.

As part of the Annual Angel Children series, the figurine also appeals to collectors who are looking specifically for the model of the year or wish to build up a complete row. At the same time, it is a figurine that can easily stand alone. It is well suited on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection, or as part of a decorative arrangement at Christmas time, where it contributes warmth, nostalgia, and classic Nordic Christmas atmosphere.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special charm because they are created to be kept, enjoyed, and passed on through generations. This makes them a sustainable choice for those who appreciate good craftsmanship and timeless design with history. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, angel figurines, or Christmas figurines with a musical motif.
