Aluminia Forest Girl 1945 Children's Aid Day figure no. 2390

This Aluminia Forest Girl from 1945 is a charming Children's Aid Day figure with a motif that clearly draws on Danish folk life and the well-known regional costumes. The figure shows a girl with a scarf around her head, an apron, and a basket on her back, executed in a calm and narrative pose that gives the figure presence and personality. The hand-painted details in shades of blue, green, yellow, and red emphasize the lively expression and make the figure a fine collector's item for anyone with an interest in Aluminia figures and Danish cultural history.

The Forest Girl is made of faience and carries the decorative, simple formal language that suits the motif so well. The white costume is decorated with small blue flowers, while the woven basket on her back adds depth and character to the figure. The interplay between the soft shapes and the precise painted details means that the figure is experienced differently from every angle. It is exactly this kind of porcelain and faience figures with history that add soul to the home and create a more personal interior.

As an older figure, this Children's Aid Day figure also contains a special story about Danish design tradition and the joy of preserving quality objects that are made to last. Vintage figures like this are a sustainable choice because they are given new life in today's homes instead of being replaced by new production. It fits beautifully in a collection of Aluminia, on a shelf with other Danish decorative arts, or as a gift for collectors who appreciate figures with a cultural-historical motif.

The motif also makes it ideal for you who are looking for a Danish child figure, a regional costume figure, or a classic Aluminia figure with a clear identity. It has both collector's value and decorative value and works well alone or together with other historical figures from the same universe.
