Bing & Grøndahl lion cub figurine no. 1923 in porcelain 14 cm

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 1923 depicts a sitting lion cub in porcelain with a calm, attentive expression. The figurine has a warm sand-colored glaze, light paws and muzzle as well as fine blue eyes that give the motif life and character. The soft modeling highlights the lion cub's rounded shapes, powerful paws and the long tail, which rests elegantly along the body.

It is a porcelain figurine that strikes the balance between lifelike animal motif and classic Danish porcelain design. The underglaze gives the surface a beautiful depth and a glossy finish that suits the figurine's calm appearance. Seen from several angles, it is experienced as cohesive and harmonious, with fine details in the face, ears and posture.

A lion cub from Bing & Grøndahl fits beautifully in a collection of animal figurines, but can also stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a discreet detail in the décor. The motif adds warmth and personality to the room and is at the same time an obvious choice for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines, porcelain figurines and classic animal figurines. It is also a good gift idea for someone who is fond of lions, Nordic design and porcelain with character.
