Horses in Pair Figurine 4208 Bing & Grøndahl Agnethe Jørgensen

This porcelain figurine with horses in pair combines calm, closeness and a strict, modern idiom of form. The two horses stand closely gathered in a sculptural composition, where the long necks meet at the top and form an elegant, almost architectural silhouette. This gives the figurine a stylish expression, making it an obvious choice both as a classic Bing & Grøndahl figurine and as a decorative design object in a contemporary interior.

The figurine was made by Agnethe Jørgensen for Bing & Grøndahl and bears figurine number 4208. The white porcelain surface is broken by blue sections, which emphasize the lines along the neck and body and give the model the characteristic blue version that many collectors keep a particularly close eye on. The expression is simple and refined, yet at the same time lively, because the two horses are shaped as one unified whole rather than as two separate animals.

As an animal figurine, it contains both Danish design history and the special joy of porcelain sculptures created with an eye for form and balance. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or as a calm eye-catcher on a sideboard, where it can stand alone or together with other figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. For collectors, the model number is important, and for the design enthusiast, it is a figurine that adds personality to the home with a light and timeless expression.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they were created to last and can still be given new life in modern surroundings. This makes them an obvious choice for you who appreciate original Danish design, fine craftsmanship and decorative art with history.
