Bing & Grøndahl annual figurine 1986 Jenny the Roller Skating Girl

Bing & Grøndahl annual figurine 1986 "Jenny" is an atmospheric porcelain figurine that captures an everyday moment filled with movement, absorption and the energy of childhood. The figurine shows the young roller skating girl sitting on a low block, while she bends forward to adjust her roller skate. On the base stands the year "1986", which is a fixed part of the figurine's expression and identity.

The motif is both calm and lively. The light hair color, the white dress and stockings as well as the deep blue top give the figurine the classic Bing & Grøndahl expression, where blue and white shades play beautifully together. The roller skates and the slightly forward-bent posture give the figurine character and make it ideal for collectors who are fond of child figurines, annual figurines and porcelain figurines with a story.

As part of Bing & Grøndahl's series of annual figurines, "Jenny - the Roller Skating Girl" also has a natural place in an existing collection. It can stand alone as a decorative figurine with a nostalgic touch, but it is also interesting for collectors who wish to supplement or expand their range of B&G annual figurines. The figurine fits nicely into a classic interior, on a shelf, in a display cabinet or together with other porcelain figurines from the same series.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special charm because they are created to be preserved and appreciated through many years. That makes them a beautiful choice for those who appreciate Danish porcelain craftsmanship, collectibles with history and decorative art that can still create joy in a modern home.
