Bing & Grøndahl Thumbelina figurine - the H.C. Andersen series

Thumbelina from Bing & Grøndahl is a porcelain figurine that brings H.C. Andersen's fairy-tale world very close. The motif shows the little Thumbelina sitting on the back of a swallow, precisely at the moment when the story gains wings and movement. The figurine has a poetic expression with the light dress, the soft shapes, and the dark blue bird, which creates a beautiful contrast and brings the motif to life.

As a fairy-tale figurine and collectible figurine, this model has a special appeal to those who are fond of Danish porcelain, classic stories, and figurines with character. The H.C. Andersen series is created based on some of the most beloved fairy tales, and Thumbelina is among the motifs that immediately evoke recognition. It tells of lightness, freedom, and imagination and therefore fits well into a collection of Bing & Grøndahl figurines or as a standalone eye-catcher in the home.

The porcelain figurine is issued in a limited number of 2500 numbered examples, which makes it extra interesting for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl and fairy-tale figurines. The numbered release emphasizes the figurine's collector's value and makes it an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates Danish design, porcelain with history, and H.C. Andersen's universe.

In the interior, Thumbelina works well on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or together with other porcelain figurines, where it adds a fairy-tale-like and personal expression. Older quality figurines like this are at the same time a beautiful choice for those who would like to surround themselves with things with soul and give classic craftsmanship new life in a modern home.
