Bing & Grøndahl The Wild Swans figurine H.C. Andersen series

This porcelain figurine from Bing & Grøndahl takes its motif from H.C. Andersen's fairy tale The Wild Swans and combines fairy tale storytelling with classic Danish figurine art. The figurine shows a young girl close together with a swan, and the motif is filled with calm, closeness and the special atmosphere for which H.C. Andersen's universe in particular is known. This makes the figurine an obvious choice for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, H.C. Andersen figurines and Danish porcelain with literary history.

In its expression, a beautiful contrast can be seen between the white swan and the girl's blue dress, while her long light braid gives the figurine a soft and narrative character. The shape of the swan's wings and the folded textiles create life in the composition, and the figurine has a fine interplay between movement and stillness. The motif makes it suitable both as a fairy tale figurine, porcelain figurine and decorative collectible in the home.

As part of the H.C. Andersen series, the figurine has a special appeal for those who are fond of Danish cultural history, fairy tales and classic applied art. It can stand beautifully on its own in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection with other figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, fairy tale lovers or for someone who wants a porcelain figurine with both story and character.

According to the existing product information, the figurine has been issued in a limited quantity of 2500 numbered figurines. This emphasizes the collector's value and makes The Wild Swans an interesting choice for anyone who appreciates porcelain with history, motif and limited release. Older porcelain figurines like this one also bring personality into the interior and are a beautiful example of how good craftsmanship can live on and be appreciated through generations.
