Woman with hat small figurine - Jie ceramics, Elsi Bourelius

This small ceramic figurine of a woman with a hat has a calm and characterful expression, making it ideal for those who appreciate Nordic ceramics and figurative art with personality. The motif is simple and human, and it is precisely that which gives the figurine a present charm that fits beautifully into both modern and more classic interiors.

The figurine is produced by the Swedish Jie Verkstad and designed by Elsi Bourelius. The combination of Swedish ceramics and a stylish figurative motif makes it interesting for both collectors of Jie ceramics and for those seeking a decorative ceramic figurine with a distinct formal language. The small size makes it easy to place on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a small table, or as part of a personal arrangement with other decorative art and ceramics.

A figurine like this adds warmth and character to the home without taking up too much space. It works well on its own, but can also be combined with other ceramic figurines, vases, or bowls to create a lively and personal expression. For many, vintage and older ceramics are also a meaningful way to decorate, because you give beautiful craftsmanship new life and choose something with history and soul rather than new production.

Woman with hat is also an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates Swedish design, ceramic figurines, and smaller art objects for the home. The small figurine has a discreet presence, which makes it easy to like and easy to find space for.
