Knud Basse ostrich figurine signed KB ceramic 12 cm

This ostrich figurine by Knud Basse has a calm and characterful expression that makes it easy to notice in the interior. The simple bird figurine is shaped with a long neck, small beak and a soft, rounded body, which gives the motif a lightly stylized and lively touch. The light glaze in muted beige and sand-colored shades emphasizes the figurine's calm appearance and makes it suitable as a decorative ceramic figurine in both modern and more classic homes.

Knud Basse is known for his animal figurines, and here it is precisely the sure sense of form and silhouette that makes the figurine interesting. The expression is simple, but not anonymous. The ostrich stands with a fine balance between the naturalistic and the decorative, so it works both as a collector's figurine and as a small piece of Danish ceramics that you can have on display all year round.

A figurine like this looks beautiful on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or as part of an arrangement with other bird figurines and animal figurines in ceramic. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Knud Basse, Danish design and older ceramics with personality. When you choose older crafts and figurines with history, you also get the pleasure of giving an existing quality product new life in the home.

The current title states that the figurine is signed KB, and the signature is precisely a relevant detail for collectors and for you who are looking for a Knud Basse figurine with clear identification. This makes the figurine more interesting as a collector's item and helps place it in the well-known line of Danish animal figurines from Knud Basse.
