Dahl Jensen standing polar bear figurine no. 1157, 38 cm

This standing polar bear from Dahl Jensen is a striking porcelain figurine with a strong and calm expression. The large model is created with a forward-facing posture, slightly lowered head and open jaws, which gives the figurine life and a clear sense of the animal's power. The light glaze emphasizes the motif's Arctic character and highlights the soft transitions in the body, giving the figurine a sculptural and natural presence.

The polar bear is modeled by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, who is known for his naturalistic animal figurines in porcelain. Here one sees precisely the assured design that has made Dahl Jensen a sought-after name among collectors of Danish porcelain and classic animal figurines. The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze, which gives the surface a glossy depth and a harmonious expression that suits the motif beautifully.

With its height of 38 cm, this Dahl Jensen figurine has a size that makes it suitable as an eye-catcher in the interior. It stands beautifully alone on a sideboard, in a bookcase or in a display cabinet, where it can be allowed to stand out as both an art figurine and a collector's item. At the same time, it is an obvious choice for a collection of bear figurines, animal figurines or Danish porcelain art.

Older porcelain figurines like this contain both history, craftsmanship and lasting value. That makes them a good choice for you who want home décor with personality and quality, or who would like to give classic design new life in a modern home. A Dahl Jensen polar bear is also a thoughtful gift idea for the collector or for someone who is fond of porcelain figurines with character and a distinct motif.
