Dahl Jensen polar bear figurine no. 1157 in porcelain 38 cm

Dahl Jensen polar bear figurine no. 1157 is a large porcelain figurine with a striking expression and strong presence. The polar bear is modeled standing on its hind legs with its mouth open, head raised and forepaws lifted in front of the body, so that the motif gains a dramatic and almost instantaneous movement. It is an animal figurine that attracts attention immediately and functions as a natural eye-catcher in the interior.

The figurine was made by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen for Dahl Jensen and shows the naturalistic modeling that makes classic animal figurines in porcelain so sought after. The light underglaze highlights the bear's powerful body, the long neck and the worked fur texture, which can be seen all the way around the figurine. The darker tones at the snout, paws, claws and in the open mouth create depth and emphasize the wild character of the motif. Seen from several angles, the figurine appears lively and sculptural, which makes it suitable for placement freely on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a side table, where it can be experienced from all sides.

With a height of 38 cm, this polar bear has a size that gives it a special weight in the room. It is well suited to collectors of Dahl Jensen figurines, porcelain figurines and animal figurines, but also to you who want a piece of classic Danish porcelain with personality. Older porcelain figurines like this bring both history, craftsmanship and character into the home, and they are also a sustainable choice for those who appreciate quality created to last and be valued through generations.

With its light glaze, the polar bear can create a beautiful contrast to dark furniture, wood, glass and modern surfaces. It functions both as a collector's item and as a decorative figurine in a home where one would like to add something with soul and artistic presence.
