Lyngby Porcelain girl with telephone "Gitte" figure no. 73

Lyngby Porcelain figure no. 73, "Gitte", is a charming porcelain figure that captures a small everyday moment with lots of personality. The young girl stands with the telephone receiver lifted up to her ear, while the old table telephone rests by her side. The motif exudes nostalgia and tells the story of a time when telephone conversations had a very special calm and presence.

The figure is designed as a girl in a light dress with short sleeves, small shoes, and pinned-up hair. The soft shapes and the calm posture give the figure a fine, lifelike expression, while the telephone and the small telephone table add character to the motif and make it easily recognizable as both a child figure and an interior figure with a historical atmosphere. The combination of child motif and old-fashioned telephone makes this Lyngby figure particularly interesting for both collectors of porcelain figures and for you who are fond of Danish design with a story.

As a vintage figure, "Gitte" also has the special quality of bringing history and soul into the interior. Older porcelain figures like this one are created to be preserved, collected, and enjoyed for many years. This makes it a sustainable choice for you who wish to decorate with things that have already lived a life, and that can still have a beautiful place in the modern home.

The figure fits nicely in a collection of Lyngby Porcelain figures, among other child figures, or as a decorative feature in a bookshelf, display cabinet, or on a chest of drawers. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, for the nostalgically interested, or for someone who takes pleasure in classic porcelain figures with everyday motifs.
