Royal Copenhagen Sealyham Terrier figurine no. 3087, 5 cm

Royal Copenhagen Sealyham Terrier figurine no. 3087 is a small porcelain figurine with plenty of life and personality. The motif shows the terrier in a twisted, almost playful position, where it bends in toward the body, as if it is in the middle of a quick moment of movement. It is precisely this spontaneous posture that gives the figurine a lively expression that stands out among classic dog figurines in porcelain.

The soft shapes and fine modeling emphasize the dog's compact body, raised tail, and characteristic head. In the pictures, light shades with warm brownish areas around the head can be seen, and the glossy glaze brings the whole together in a calm and harmonious way. It is a dog figurine that has both charm and weight, even in the small format.

The figurine is made by Royal Copenhagen after a design by Theodor Madsen, who is known for his lifelike animal figurines with an eye for both anatomy and temperament. Here, it is not only the Sealyham Terrier breed that is depicted, but also the dog's energy and distinctive character. This makes the figurine interesting for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurine, dog figurines, and older Danish porcelain.

With a size of 5 cm, the figurine is easy to place in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or together with other porcelain figurines. It is also well suited as a gift for a dog lover or for someone who appreciates small figurines with character and history. Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to bring personality into the interior, while at the same time being a beautiful example of fine craftsmanship that can still bring joy today.
