Kay Bojesen Songbird Pop 39401 in painted beechwood

Kay Bojesen Songbird Pop is one of the most recognizable bird figures in Danish design. With its round, simple design language and its strong colors, Pop brings both personality and calm into the interior. The red body, the green head, the black beak and the yellow legs give the figure a lively and distinctive expression, which makes it easy to spot on the shelf, on the desk or on the windowsill.

The Songbird was originally designed by Kay Bojesen in 1950 and launched into production in 2012. Pop belongs to the beloved Kay Bojesen birds, where imaginative form, good craftsmanship and a warm, human expression come together in a higher unity. This is precisely what has made Kay Bojesen's wooden figures classics across generations.

This version is made of painted beechwood, which emphasizes the figure's soft lines and graphic color fields. Pop works both as a decorative figure and as a gift with lasting value for a birthday, anniversary, graduation gift or for someone who is fond of Danish design and collectibles. It stands beautifully on its own, but can also be combined with other Kay Bojesen figures and songbirds for a more personal and colorful expression in the home.

When you choose a vintage figure with history, you get not just a well-known design icon, but also the joy of giving good craftsmanship new life. It is a fine way to decorate with quality, character and thoughtfulness in a modern home.
