Bing & Grøndahl finch bird figurine no. 2348 - 7,5 cm

Bing & Grøndahl finch bird figurine no. 2348 is a small porcelain figurine with a calm, nature-inspired expression that fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes. The upright bird stands on a light, shaped base and is modelled with a fine balance between simplicity and lifelike details. The soft transitions in the glaze and the subdued colours give the figurine a harmonious expression, making it ideal for both collectors and those who love bird figurines in porcelain.

The motif appears lively and full of character with a light beak, dark throat, light areas around the head and discreet markings on the wings and tail. The base is designed with small dark blue berries, which add a decorative natural touch to the figurine and emphasise the fine interplay between bird and base. It is precisely this type of detail that makes a classic B&G bird figurine so interesting to look at, even in the small format.

As a porcelain figurine from Bing & Grøndahl, it contains craftsmanship, tradition and collector's joy. The underglaze provides a soft and durable surface, and the modest size of 7,5 cm makes it easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a small decorative detail on the desk. It can stand alone or be combined with other bird figurines and animal figurines in porcelain to create a personal collection with history and soul.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special ability to add warmth and personality to the home. Choosing vintage porcelain is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for the collector, the bird lover or the one who appreciates Danish porcelain and classic decorative art.
