Bing & Grøndahl white rabbit figurine no. 2441, 11 cm

This white rabbit figurine from Bing & Grøndahl has a calm and intimate expression, which makes it easy to love. The figurine is modelled in a low, resting position, where the overall body, the small front paws and the laid-back ears give the motif a soft and lifelike character. The glossy porcelain surface highlights the simple shapes, while the delicate pink shades at the ears and paws as well as the warm eye add life and depth.

As a porcelain figurine, it is well suited to those who appreciate classic animal figures in Danish design. A Bing & Grøndahl rabbit as figurine no. 2441 is easy to place in the home, whether it is to stand in a display cabinet, on a shelf, in a still life or as part of a collection of porcelain animals. The white colour makes it easy to combine with both other figurines, blue and white porcelain and more modern interiors, where it adds a soft, personal touch.

Underglaze gives the figurine a smooth and durable finish, and the fine modelling emphasises the craftsmanship that many collectors associate with Bing & Grøndahl porcelain. The motif has a quiet charm that makes the figurine ideal as a gift for a collector, for Easter or for someone who simply appreciates animals in porcelain with a classic Danish expression. It is precisely the type of porcelain figurine one returns to, because it is both decorative and timeless without seeming ostentatious.
