Royal Copenhagen horse with foal figurine 4698 - Jeanne Grut

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4698 depicts a horse with foal in a calm and intimate moment, where both animals lie close together. The motif has a warm and quiet story, and Jeanne Grut has captured the special connection between mother and young with a fine balance between naturalism and soft, harmonious lines. This makes the figurine ideal for collectors of animal figurines, horse figurines and classic Danish porcelain.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze and appears in the characteristic blue-grey and white shades, which suit the motif beautifully. The calm body of the large horse forms a protective shape around the foal, and the modelled details in mane, head and legs give the figurine life without seeming restless. The expression is understated and poetic, exactly as one knows it from Royal Copenhagen's finest animal figurines.

As a porcelain figurine, this Royal Copenhagen horse with foal has both decorative strength and collector's value. It fits well in an interior with Nordic design, classic decorative art and other porcelain figurines, where it adds warmth and personality. It can stand alone on a shelf, on a chest of drawers or in a display cabinet, but also works beautifully together with other animal figurines from the same universe.

For the one who appreciates horses, Danish design and well-crafted porcelain, figurine 4698 is a motif with calm, presence and lasting appeal. At the same time, it is an obvious gift idea for collectors or for someone who wants a figurine with a natural and timeless expression.
