About the item
The Holmegaard Baroque table lamp is a beautiful example of Danish design from the period when function and form went hand in hand. The characteristic, baluster-shaped silhouette gives the lamp an elegant and almost sculptural expression, and the deep aubergine-colored glaze adds warmth, depth, and an exclusive glow to the interior.
The lamp was designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard and clearly bears her confident eye for proportions and the decorative interplay in the material. When the light is switched on, the lamp's organic shapes and the glaze's lively surface become even more distinct, and it becomes a striking focal point in both classic and modern homes.
This Holmegaard table lamp is particularly interesting for collectors and design lovers, because it is no longer in production and has therefore become harder to find. If you choose a lampshade with a support ring, please be aware that a shade stand must be purchased separately; we recommend item no. 20193, which can be used for all our lamps. If you choose a low-energy LED bulb, all wattages can be used, as LED bulbs do not get very hot and therefore do not damage the chosen lampshade. Older lamps may have ordinary age-related patina on the cord, socket, or minor details, which is a natural part of the lamp's history.
