Aluminia small Christmas plate from 1907 with the motif Fir Branch is a charming and early vintage from the colorful series, which was produced from 1904 to 1938. Here the Christmas motif is interpreted simply and decoratively with a stylized fir branch in the center, surrounded by golden stars and the hand-painted text Jul at the top of the banner. The year 19 and 07 is elegantly distributed on each side of the motif and makes the plate easy to identify.

It is precisely Fir Branch that gives this vintage a calm and atmospheric expression. The green fir stands as a classic symbol of Nordic Christmas, winter and tradition, while the many stars add light and festivity. Along the edge are large dark blue flowers with warm brownish center fields, and the interplay between blue, green, golden and brown shades helps give the plate its distinctive Aluminia character. It is a color scheme that clearly distinguishes these faience plates from many of the period's more blue-white Christmas plates.
