1981 Gustavsberg Christmas Plate, Christmas Platter No. 11.

This 1981 Gustavsberg Christmas plate in blue and white commemorates the tenth anniversary of Gustavsberg's exclusive series of Christmas plates. The plate features a motif of a child sleeping peacefully with their teddy bear in a decorated room, while a gnome is filling up the Christmas stocking. The Christmas plate, with a diameter of 20 cm, is made from Gustavsberg's specialty, bone china, making it not just a beautiful collectible but also an ideal lunch plate that can contribute to the festive atmosphere at Christmas lunches or as a delicate starter plate for Christmas Eve dinner.

The plate has been made in a limited edition and has not been reproduced. The motif, a new creation by artist Stig Lindberg, adds artistic value and a soft, naive Christmas charm that appeals to collectors and admirers of Swedish porcelain design.
