Bing & Grondahl can be differentiated by a scratch in trademark

We check all products and categorize all porcelain so that you can easily see, if it is 1st or 2nd quality, but if you shop privately or in various flea markets, etc., it is probably a good idea to know how to check the quality of the porcelain.

All 2. quality items by Bing & Grondahl are marked by a subtle scratch through the trademark (logo with the three towers) at the bottom of e.g. figurines, plates, etc.

Bing & Grondahl hardly ever published any annual items in 2. Quality. This is why there are nearly no 2. quality items available by Bing & Grondahl.

Should you come across an item by Bing & Grondahl in the 2. Quality, it is usually because the item did not pass our own quality check.

If an item is no longer reaching the usual 1. Quality standards of the manufacturer, we categorize these items as 2. Quality and offer them at a reduced price.

Attention! Annual items are exclusively produced in 1. Quality. Other figurines, vases, porcelain sets, etc. by Bing & Grondahl are on the other hand made in both 1. and 2. Quality.
