Hummel Mother's Day plates with hand-painted animal motifs
Hummel Mother's Day plates are part of the Mother's Series, which was produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik in Rödental in the former West Germany.
The series consists of different animal motifs, shaped in relief and subsequently hand-painted. This gives the plates a more three-dimensional expression than the flat motifs found on many other Mother's Day plates.
