Royal Copenhagen bathing girl figurine no. 2428 or 134

This porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen depicts a bathing girl in a calm, sensual moment. The figurine stands upright on a small base with the body slightly turned, while the arms are raised toward the face. The motif has a quiet, classical character, which distinguishes many figurine models in which the human body and movement are at the center. The warm overglaze gives the figurine a soft and vivid expression, which emphasizes the model's fine lines and the calm pose.

Bathing girl is modeled by Gerhard Henning, who is known for his human figures with natural movement and a sure sense of form. Here the expression is simple and concentrated, and that is precisely what makes the figurine suitable for you who are fond of classical Danish porcelain art and older Royal Copenhagen figurines. The overglaze technique adds a special depth to colors and details, which gives the figurine presence both in a display cabinet, on a shelf, and on a smaller pedestal.

As a porcelain figurine, this bathing girl fits beautifully into an interior with a focus on art, sculptural forms, and Danish design history. It can stand alone as a decorative eye-catcher or be combined with other human figures in porcelain to create a personal collection. For collectors, the figurine number is important, and here it is Royal Copenhagen no. 2428 or 134, which should be clearly stated when searching for this particular model.

Older porcelain figurines like this contain both craftsmanship, history, and lasting value. It is the type of decorative art and collector's item that can continue to bring joy in a modern home and at the same time be a beautiful choice for you who appreciate preserving quality objects created to last for generations.
