Bing & Grøndahl crested tit bird figurine no. 2485 in porcelain

Bing & Grøndahl crested tit bird figurine no. 2485 is a small porcelain figurine with a calm and lifelike expression. The bird is modelled sitting with its tail downward, and the soft shapes give the figurine a lively character, even in the simple format. The deep blue colour over the head and tail stands beautifully against the white belly and the warm beige shades on the back and sides, giving the figurine both character and balance.

It is precisely the type of bird figurine that many associate with classic Danish porcelain: discreet, well-balanced and easy to find room for in the home. The fine underglaze highlights the flowing transitions of the colours and supports the calm overall impression. The motif fits well into a collection of Bing & Grøndahl bird figurines, but can also stand alone as a small detail on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a desk, where it adds warmth and personality.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring both craftsmanship, history and reuse value into the interior. It is a beautiful way to choose something that has already been created with care and quality, and that can still bring joy in a modern home. The figurine is also an obvious gift for collectors, bird enthusiasts or for someone who appreciates Danish design with a classic expression.

This Bing & Grøndahl figurine is a good choice for you if you are looking for a decorative bird figurine in porcelain with collector appeal and a motif that feels both quiet and present. The small crested tit has a friendly expression and a shape that makes it easy to combine with other porcelain animals, nature motifs or Nordic decorative art.
