Royal Copenhagen Orchestra 2023 Angel with trumpet no. 094

Royal Copenhagen Orchestra 2023 Angel with trumpet no. 094 is a porcelain angel that brings together classic Christmas decoration, Danish design and fine collector's joy in one expression. The figure stands in the familiar blue and white shades with discreet gold detailing, and the small trumpet gives the motif a calm, musical character that fits beautifully into the atmosphere of Christmas.

The angel is part of Royal Copenhagen's orchestra of Christmas angels, where each figure contributes with its own instrument and its own character. Here, the angel is seen with a trumpet held in front of the body, while the simple shape and the soft lines give the figure a clean and recognizable expression. The blue colour tones down towards the base and creates a fine connection with Royal Copenhagen's other Christmas universe.

This edition is a reinterpretation of Bing & Grøndahl's white angels, which were originally produced for the first time in 1955. This gives the figure a special connection to Danish Christmas tableware and ceramic tradition, while the choice of colour makes it ideal together with Royal Copenhagen's Christmas plate and other annual collector's items. For collectors of Christmas figures, angels and porcelain ornaments, it is a model that works both alone and as part of a complete orchestra.

The angel can be used in several ways. It looks beautiful standing as a small Christmas figure on a shelf, in a windowsill or as part of a still life with fir branches, candles and other Christmas decorations. It can also be hung up in the included string as an ornament on the Christmas tree or on a branch, where the blue-white glaze and the golden details come into their own beautifully.

It is precisely the combination of tradition, musical motif and usability that makes this Royal Copenhagen angel an obvious gift idea for collectors, for those who are fond of classic Christmas decorations, or for you who would like to build up a personal Christmas tradition with figures that can be brought out year after year.
