Royal Copenhagen Trolls Little Sister with Frog troll figurine no. 098

Trolls Little Sister with Frog from Royal Copenhagen is a charming porcelain figurine that captures a calm and present moment. The little troll sits on the ground with her green frog in front of her, absorbed in the encounter between child and animal. The motif has the warm and imaginative atmosphere that makes the Trolls family a beloved series among collectors of Danish figurines and classic design porcelain.

The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and contains many of the details that make the series easy to recognize. Little Sister is made with small horns, large ears, a tuft of hair, and a brown dress, while the frog is modeled in green shades with dark spots. The interplay between the seated figure and the frog gives the troll figurine life and personality, and it works both as a single figurine and as part of a complete display with the other figurines in the Trolls family.

As a Royal Copenhagen troll figurine, it appeals both to collectors and to those who are fond of porcelain figurines with story and character. The underglaze technique contributes to the smooth expression and the soft color transitions that suit the motif well. It is exactly the type of figurine that creates an eye-catcher in the display cabinet, on a shelf, or in a personal collection of Danish decorative arts and figurines with a fairy-tale atmosphere.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special value because they carry craftsmanship, history, and personality further into today's homes. Choosing a figurine with a history is also a fine way to preserve quality design and give beautiful porcelain new life. Little Sister with Frog therefore suits both the collector, the nostalgic interior, and as a gift for someone who is fond of Royal Copenhagen, troll figurines, and classic Danish design.
