Bing & Grøndahl Annual Angel Children 2006 girl with flower vine

The Annual Angel Children 2006 from Bing & Grøndahl - Royal Copenhagen depicts a little angel girl with a flower wreath in her hands. The figure has a calm and warm expression, where the soft shapes, the light wings and the fine pink flowers create an atmosphere of Christmas, peace and nostalgia. It is a porcelain figurine that fits beautifully into the classic Nordic Christmas tradition and at the same time has a light and poetic expression, which makes it decorative all year round.

The motif is delicately shaped by Sven Vestergaard, and the figure shows a girl angel in a long white dress with short light hair and a green vine with flower buds and blooming flowers. The simple posture and the subdued colours give the figure a harmonious expression, while the flower wreath adds life and a fine contrast to the light glaze. It is precisely the combination of childlike innocence, angel motif and the small hand-painted details that makes this angel figurine special for collectors of B&G figurines and Christmas figurines.

As part of the Annual Angel Children series, the figure also has an obvious collector's value. It works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger arrangement with other angel figurines, pixies or Christmas decorations in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift idea for someone who collects Bing & Grøndahl, Royal Copenhagen or classic Danish porcelain figurines.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring history, craftsmanship and personality into the home. Choosing a figurine with a history is also a beautiful way to give good design new life. At DPH - Danish Porcelain House, we especially appreciate the objects that are created to be kept, used and cherished for many years.
