Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 361 Girl with Saint Bernard dog

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 361, Girl with Saint Bernard dog, depicts a warm and intimate moment between a child and her dogs. The little girl stands in a blue dress and black shoes and raises her hands toward the head of the large Saint Bernard dog, while two puppies lie close by her feet. The motif exudes security, childhood, and love of animals and makes the figurine an atmospheric feature in the home.

The porcelain figurine belongs to the world of motifs with children and pets, where every detail helps tell a little story. The calm posture of the large dog, the girl's attentive movement, and the two small puppies bring the composition together in a natural and lively way. The colors in white, brown, and blue give the figurine a classic expression that fits beautifully among other Danish porcelain and collectible figurines.

This Royal Copenhagen children's figurine appeals both to collectors of porcelain figurines and to those who are fond of dog figurines with personality. The motif with Saint Bernard dog and child makes it ideal in an interior where one desires a soft, nostalgic, and personal expression. The figurine is also a fine gift idea for a dog lover or for a collection with animal figurines, children's figurines, or classic figurines from Royal Copenhagen.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to bring history and soul into the home. Choosing a figurine with a past is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life. At DPH - Danish Porcelain House, we value precisely that type of decorative art and collectibles that can continue to create joy for many years to come.
