Royal Copenhagen Annual Santa 2007 Santa Takes a Nap

Royal Copenhagen Annual Santa 2007 with the title "Santa Takes a Nap" captures a quiet moment in the midst of the Christmas bustle. The figure shows Santa sitting with closed eyes in a green chair, wrapped in his red suit with white trim, while small gifts and a small teddy bear are placed at his feet. The motif has warmth, humor, and recognizable Christmas storytelling within it - a calm breather that gives the figure life and personality.

This Christmas figure is designed by Sven Vestergaard for Royal Copenhagen and executed in underglaze. This can be seen in the soft color transitions and the smooth, glossy surface, which suits the motif beautifully. The expression is classic and atmospheric, and precisely for that reason Annual Santa is a series many collectors return to year after year.

The Annual Santa series starts in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection. This makes the figure from 2007 part of a well-established and highly sought-after series of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures. For collectors, it can be an important figure for expanding or completing the collection, but it also works really well on its own as a charming Christmas figure on the windowsill, on a shelf, or as part of the year's Christmas display.

As an older figure, it also has the special value that lies in preserving fine craftsmanship and design, created to last and be brought out again year after year. A figure with history and soul gives Christmas a more personal touch and is at the same time a fine choice for you who appreciate quality design with a long lifespan.

Annual Santa 2007 is an obvious gift idea for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, for Christmas-loving home décor, or for you who are fond of classic Christmas figures with storytelling, presence, and collector's value.
