Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2004 Santa in the Chimney

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2004 with the title "Santa in the Chimney" captures the playful and adventurous side of Christmas. The figure shows Santa on his way up the chimney with his sack of gifts over his shoulder and a raised hand, as if he is already in the middle of Christmas night's secret mission. The green suit, the white beard, and the brick chimney give the figure a classic Christmas expression, which immediately evokes memories of old Christmas stories and cozy December traditions.

The motif is charming and full of movement. The small figure tells a whole story in itself: Santa is at work, the gifts are with him, and he is almost there. That is precisely why this porcelain figure is ideal as Christmas decoration, a collector's figure, or as a permanent part of the annual Christmas display with elves, fir, and candles. It works beautifully on its own, but it also gains extra strength together with other figures in the series.

Santa of the Year from Royal Copenhagen is a very popular series with great demand among collectors of Christmas figures. The series starts in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Claus has also been added to the collection, which has made the series even more interesting for collectors who wish to expand or complete their display. The figure from 2004 is therefore both an atmospheric Christmas motif and an important part of the complete line of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures.

As an older Christmas figure, it also has the special quality of bringing history and tradition into the modern home. It is precisely the joy of using porcelain and design with soul that makes vintage and older collector's figures so attractive. A figure like this can be brought out year after year and become part of the family's own Christmas traditions or be given as a gift to a collector who appreciates classic Danish Christmas decoration in porcelain.
